Park the car, turn off the engine, open the hood, lock the doors, and wait for the vehicle to enter sleep mode. 2. Loosen the negative terminal clamp nut to disconnect the negative terminal clamp from the battery terminal. 4. Read the meter reading. 50mA corresponds to 0.05A.
