Manufactured in the USA for Kayalu Gear by Tektite, the R25 Electric Torch is the ideal handheld light for providing visibility to paddlers, canoers and others sharing the watersheet. As a marker light, the R25 Electric Torch casts an even light around the horizon rather than operating as a point source (e.g. flashlight).Waterproof (IPX8) and submersible to 1000 feet (300 m) below sea level, operable in rain, fog, snow and conditions of limited visibility.Clear lens with white reflector is visible from 360°.Constructed of impact-resistant and weather-resistant composite polymer and polycarbonate.Twist-on/twist-off operation and a double-gasket seal protect batteries, electronics and 2-LED module from exposure to marine water, rainwater and humidity.Bright white 2-LED module provides over 100 hours of operation on 3 AA alkaline batteries (included), with an LED life of over 10,000 hours.Stainless steel split ring can be used for securing to a carabiner, PFD, crate, paddle leash, deck rigging, or other location for easy access.Includes black nylon-coated bungee wrist strap.DayGlo orange body, easy to spot under moonlight or starlight.Two shoulder slots can accept a strap for binding the light to an arm or leg.The R25 is made in the USA for Kayalu by Tektite Industries.
