What happens if I miss a contractor’s appointment?

If we have contacted you to let you know that a contractor will be popping over to look at something you have reported, then we will arrange with you at that time whether you will be home to let them in or if we need to give them a key. If you have said that you won’t be home then the contractor will get a key from the office and just pop over without you needing to be there. If however, you have agreed that you will be present to let them in and/or will meet them to show them the issue and you do not turn up, or don’t let them in, then you will be liable for a call out charge for wasting their time.
