I don’t own a property, what do I do?
The referencing team ask for a guarantor to be a homeowner and have sufficient income/savings to guarantee the tenants rent. If you do not own a property, but you know someone who does and would be happy to be a guarantor with you, then we are able to accept joint guarantorship.
This is where one guarantor proves income/savings (you) and a second guarantor proves homeownership. If this is the case, we will need you to contact us to let us know which criteria you will be fulfilling and to also provide us with the details of the second joint guarantor. If you are unable to be a guarantor then please contact us as a matter of urgency and we will discuss alternative options with you and/or the tenant applying.
